Some plays to just miss the cut today include:

  1. Brooksby -5 games vs Ymer – I feel Brooksby should be able to win here, however Ymer has more experience at grand slam level and has the capability to turn this into a grind. One lapse in a set may be enough to prevent a cover.
  2. Teichmann -5.5 games vs Bucsa – Was originally keen here, however I was hoping to see -5 games as at least a push at decent odds. Bucsa looked solid in qualifying and may be able to remain competitive early, so there may be a chance at a lower game handicap.
  3. Djokovic/Rune under 26.5 games – Hard to know if Novak starts a little slow like he did at Wimbledon in round 1. Should be able to find his way into a number of Rune service games.
