2. Record – Resulting Process
As bookmakers have varying rules on tennis throughout the world, in the interest of fairness, all results in the Record spreadsheet are resulted based on the rules of the first bookmaker listed with the play.
As an example:
Bet365
Rules stipulate that a match must be completed for a bet to stand.
“In the event of a match starting but not being completed then all bets will be void, unless settlement of a bet has already been determined”.
Unibet
Rules stipulate that a match must be completed for a bet to stand.
“Handicap offers require all scheduled sets to be completed for bets to stand except in those events the outcome of which is already determined”
In the above example, both plays are resulted as “Void” (no result). If the above plays had been suggested with a bookmaker that does not void on retirement (e.g. Betfair) then these would have been resulted as a loss.
