Jan-Lennard Struff beat Borna Coric in Indian Wells one month ago. While these courts were mud-slow, that third-set tiebreak win still isn’t enough for me to warrant a 25-30 cent move now that they’re playing on actual clay. I still might not have touched the match if it wasn’t for the damp conditions, but I see Coric coping with that better than Struff. The slower the courts, the more Coric can outgrind Struff, and scheduled last on Court 2, court speed will be at the bare minimum.
