Stan Wawrinka capitalized on an overwhelming H2H record against a deteriorating Albert Ramos Viñolas in his first-up match in North Africa, but his second contest against a much fitter looks a tougher task.
There’s no doubt when Stan is fresh and firing he still has plenty of pop on his shots, but over a more testing contest in hotter conditions (like what we’ll see at Morocco) I don’t think the younger player should be an underdog.
If Wawrinka can come in and get it done quickly, then I’ll cop that, but it won’t be straight forward and I don’t agree with the price on Navone.
