Although she has found a way in her third sets this tournament, I still don’t think we are seeing the best tennis from Rybakina at the moment. She had to withdraw from Indian Wells, and has been taken to 3 sets by Tauson, Townsend, Sakkari and Azarenka. She faces Danielle Collins who is yet to drop a set for the tournament and is playing with exceptional freedom as someone who is in the last season of her career. It’s hard to fault what Collins is producing at the moment and she is certainly a player who won’t be fazed by the power game of Rybakina.
