I feel as though Minnen is the perfect match-up for Sofia Kenin to build her way into a little bit of form in Hobart this year.
It wasn’t the most inspiring first up performance from Kenin against Rodionova, however I am willing to forgive. Rodionova doesn’t put a lot of pace on the ball, and Kenin appeared to struggle with the need to be more aggressive first-up, as Rodionova is the type of player who can go for hours and hours.
She gets Minnen here, who can be aggressive, but not blow-you-off-the-court aggressive. The -3.5 games here looks solid for a play on the American here, as I had this one handicapped at 4.5 games.
