Last January she credited the body of work that she was able to complete in her off-season and pre-season as the catalyst for raising her game to the next level, and although the sample size is small here, it’s two very strong performances to kick off here.
Combine this with Bondar over-achieving a touch on break point conversion and saves against Burrage (saved 11/13, converted 3/5). I think in this match-up in the conditions Volynets should be too solid.
