A very brief preview here, as I think there is a little bit of value here in a slightly different market to those I play most.
Over 1 set, or best of 3 sets, I think Lucas Pouille has the edge on recent form on the hardcourts. Where I do have a slight question mark however, is his endurance over the best of 5 format. He has played a somewhat limited schedule over the course of 2021 as he returns from injury. His fade out in set 3 against Dan Evans last week, and his loss to Norrie in 4 sets from a set up, lead me to have slight question marks. So how am I going to approach this?
By taking the first set market. Just a 1 unit selection here, however Pouille has the higher ceiling and I will happily take him at better than even money to take the first set.
