Nishikori vs Travaglia (Approx 10:00pm AEST)
Whilst I entirely agree with the money that has come since the odds opened for Travaglia to win this match, I feel it may have opened up some value in another market on Kei Nishikori.
I won’t overthink this one, and I will keep this short, sharp and to the point. I don’t like Nishikori over the best-of-5 set format at the moment given his recent return from injury, and the fact he is coming off a 5 set match with Dan Evans. The only way I am keen to back Nishikori is over a smaller sample size, and in this instance it is taking him to win the first set here as an underdog.
The first set here is incredibly important for Nishikori, and personally I can see Travaglia coming back from a set down as being far more probable than Nishikori. Keeping it simple, I like Nishikori at the underdog price to win the first set.
