Kukushkin vs Martinez (Approx 11:00pm AEST)
I have been wanting to write about this match all day, however too many previews came before it in the pecking order. I will keep it brief, as I am sick of staring at my computer screen.
The Kukushkin beatdown of Fognini late in the match ended up masking the deficiencies in the clay game of Kukushkin. Pedro Martinez is clearly the superior player on clay in this match-up, and looked great in a number of clutch spots through the first two sets of his match against Vukic.
Whilst not a big play, I do feel there is a small amount of value in Martinez at the game handicap of 4.5 games, and I am happy to place a 1 unit selection on the Spaniard to win an win well.
