Whilst there are too many unknown factors to get involved in this match myself, I think this looks to be a “no bet” situation for Danka Kovinic.
Far too much has been read into the win of Kovinic over Julia Goerges, who was making her return to the tour after injuring herself during the exhibition season. Whilst on the surface is looks as though Belinda Bencic hasn’t played a lot of tennis over the last couple of months, she was actually quite active in terms of exhibitions a couple of months ago.
I would have Bencic as value here, however the lack of WTA level tennis is hard to quantify confidently in this spot. Whilst I will fall short of making a play on Bencic here, I wouldn’t be interested in Kovinic at the current price.
