DraftKings Thoughts – February 18

Below are some players that stand out to me at the price for inclusion in a team for today.

  • Dominic Thiem ($11,300) – I think there are enough solid cheaper options today to allow a little treat for your team in Dominic Thiem. Should be far, far, far too good overall.
  • Ugo Humbert ($7,600) – Nice price for a solid player to take advantage of a potentially tired Kyle Edmund, coming off a title in New York. Edmund has recently found his way into the main draw of Acapulco as well. I am not expecting Edmund at his best today.
  • Joao Domingues ($8,400) – See comment above regarding Edmund and New York, and replace it with Sousa and Buenos Aires.
  • Noah Rubin ($7,000) – value price with Jung coming off a career-best, yet long, week in New York. Rubin solid in qualifying, and could spring an upset here.

A risk-versus-reward play if looking for a potential big score would be to include Stebe to defeat Tomic, however I wouldn’t be building a number of teams around this selection. If you can find some upsets in the $6-7,000 range, work them around Thiem for best results.

If you have any questions about specific players, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
