I was against Baindl in the first round of Wimbledon, however I am happy to be back on board here at $3.50 against Lucia Bronzetti.
This looks to be a bit of a funny spot for Bronzetti, as the 80th ranked Italian coming off Wimbledon, and in the main draw of Palermo next week at home. It’s been a poor run of form for Bronzetti of late, having been ranked within the Top 50 in the latter part of May. She looked a little better here first up against Waltert, however her game does allow opponents the opportunity to be aggressive and assertive.
Although she is not in the best form of her career, I do feel as though Baindl will have her chances here against Bronzetti. She is on the more aggressive side with her style, and after a slow start responded very well against Monnet, going from 3-5 to 7-6 6-1 in what was a confidence boosting win.
Bronzetti should be a clear favourite, but not this clear of a favourite.
