Jake’s Davis Cup Preview: Hong vs. Posposil

Posted on

I can only assume it’s reputation and expected motivation driving Vasek Pospisil’s price on Saturday morning, because it’s certainly not the form guide.

The 33-year-old Canadian will represent his country on indoor hard courts as he looks to fight off Korea’s Seong-Chan Hong

Pospisil hasn’t won a match since September of last season and rides a six-match losing streak, all on hard courts.

Hong is coming off a finals appearance at Nonthaburi 3, and prior to that he made the semi-finals at the city’s second event.

I have a lot of respect for the market, and I understand there are more parameters than the eye can see, but drawing on data alone, there’s just too much working against the serve-volley specialist, and I’d rather be against him.

Suggested Bet:

0.75 units Hong to WIN @ $1.85 with Pinnacle

Over 18s Only (21+ in some jurisdictions). 1 unit = 1% of bankroll. Please enjoy your betting responsibly. Never bet more than you can afford to lose, and do not chase a loss.
