I’ve spoken in depth about my opinion on Shevchenko, and going to put my money where my mouth is tonight.
He’s too long in the market against a dangerous but out of form and inferior Gregoire Barrere.
The Frenchman hadn’t won a match prior to the round one victory here, and on a slow deck I just don’t think he can keep up with the brutal ball hitting of the Kazakh.
I do worry slightly about Shevchenko age and overall maturity, but he showed great resolve in getting past Svrcina last night and I think he should be closer to $1.70 to win again this evening.
