While I have the utmost respect for O’Connell’s mid-career rise and tradesman-like approach, I think he should be a bigger price against an up and coming talent like Alexander Shevchenko.
The Russian has brutal ball-hitting ability and based on the quality of contest between he and Tomas Martin Etcheverry in round one, I’m banking on that form rather than that of O’Connell’s versus the out-of-form Rinderknech.
Nothing crazy, I just see a difference in upside and ability.
