I’m quite disappointed with how things have started off, but with such a minuscule sample size I’ve just got to keep trucking along.
I’ll attempt to return to winning ways at Hong Kong as a slight market drift on Frances Tiafoe has me interested in backing him against someone he’s defeated three times in-a-row.
Miomir Kecmanovic was strong first-up against Taro Daniel, but it’s the nature of that victory that’s most likely caused him to firm this much.
I do worry about Tiafoe’s slow back-end of 2023, but I’ll chalk that up to lack of interest after a really busy US swing and overall campaign.
I’ve got respect for the Serbian’s style, but he doesn’t have the upside Tiafoe does and I’m expecting Big Foe to improve on his decent record in Asia tonight.
