I will keep this short as I am a little short on time. I have mentioned recently in a couple of previews that I am quite high on the current level of tennis from Potapova. Having watched the entirety of Pavlyuchenkova’s win over Samsonova the other day, the result was more about the poor level of Samsonova late compared to Pavlyuchenkova playing high level tennis. Potapova came through a tricky test in round 2 over Sherif, after a dominant round 1 win over Townsend. Potapova has taken her consistency to a new level, to the point where I am comfortable taking her at the games handicap in this one.
