Daniil Medvedev was incredibly lucky to get over the line against Alexander Zverev tonight. Against a more well rounded and proficient, in-form claycourt in Holger Rune, I’m not sure he will be so lucky today.
I’m quite high on Rune’s potential, as mentioned yesterday when I backed him against Berrettini 1 minute before he pulled out. The biggest weakness for Rune is between the ears, and when the crowd can potential turn on him if he starts to act up. The crowd is likely to be more focused on the what is happening at the other end of the net. In cooler conditions here in Monte Carlo, I have value on Rune’s current price for 2 units.
