I’m happy to oppose Haddad Maia in Eastbourne coming off her big week last week. Kaia Kanepi is a serviceable opponent and given Haddad Maia has locked in seeding for Wimbledon and has put together a solid body of form, I’d be surprise to see her make a deep run this week.
Also in Eastbourne, I’m happy to back Katie Boulter to knock off Karolina Pliskova as a strong underdog position. I prefer backing in Boulter on grass against players who generate a lot of pace, and she will get that in spades here from Pliskova.
