It was a steady and impressive rise in 2021 for Arthur Rinderknech, moving from the low 100’s rankings comfortably into the Top 100 (currently in the 50’s). He went 13-15 against Top 100 opponents throughout this rise, and looks right at home mixing it with other Top 100 players on the hardcourt after a strong 2021 start at Challenger level.
Roman Safiullin has hovered around a ranking similar to where Rinderknech started 2021, however outside of second rounds at the Aus Open and Roland Garros, he couldn’t find momentum at Challenger level across the year. On 2021 form and considering the conditions, I have Rinderknech 2-0 here at $1.90, making the $2 value for a small play.
An alternate approach would be to wait for a 2-2 or 3-3 scoreline in the first set and take a Rinderknech game handicap or 2-0 at that point in time as well (hard for me to recommend with an article at the time though).
