ATP Challenger Prostejov – Vukic vs Majchrzak

Vukic vs Majchrzak (Approx 08:30pm AEST)

Along similar lines to the selection in the Tabilo vs Cecchinato match, we have Kamil Majchrzak scheduled to take part in the qualifying draw for the ATP Rome Masters 1000, due to commence on Saturday. Majchrzak has put together two solid performances here in Prostejov, coming off a poor showing in New York.

Clay is not normally the strongest surface for either of these players, however the progression of Aleksandar Vukic has really impressed me this year. He put together a couple of really solid showings in the Australian summer, and looked very solid on court during the My UTR matches I was able to watch over the last few months. Vukic has transitioned overseas to the clay, and knocked off Henri Laaksonen in straight sets, dropping his serve only once along the way. His first serve is severely underrated, and given the question marks around the motivation of Majchrzak, getting a price over $2.60 for him here looks to be worth a small play.

I will keep this to a small 0.5 unit selection, however there was enough value in the price for me to sit down and produce this preview. If the Australian can continue his solid serving he will be very competitive here.

Suggested Bet

0.5 units Vukic to defeat Majchrzak at $2.77 at Topsport
