As well as Karen Khachanov has been playing, I’m not sure there is enough respect in the market for Jiri Lehecka.
I think a level from Lehecka near his ceiling is more than competitive in this match-up. I was impressed with Lehecka’s composure in round 1 against a tricky customer in Martin Fucsovics, and his first serve stats certainly stack up here in this match up. KK got a bit of a gift by facing lucky loser Van Assche first up backing up from his title last week, however things go up a couple of notches here.
Lehecka matches up well here in most facets of the game against Khachanov, and the Russian has been genuinely overperforming in clutch moments, including some tight tiebreaks against Mensik and Popyrin. Bit of value in the moneyline here in my opinion, and I’m someone who tends to favour Khachanov more than most markets in recent years.
