I don’t usually like betting in favour of finalists but Baez is blessed with a week off, which means extra days to prepare.
He has been excellent in these conditions in previous seasons, losing a finale to Pedro Martinez in 2022 and a semi-final to Tomas Martin Etcheverry last year.
But, what matters most to me here is the draw.
He has to win two matches and plays either Navone (again) or Varillas. I would have him $1.30 average against either man, and how big could you have him against Munar or Dellien/Ramos?
I suppose Munar would provide some resistance but can I be frank? Baez is miles better than this lot.
