I won’t go mental but I think this is a great price for an Australian playing with house money after an escape act victory, but also someone who is so acclimatized on outdoor hard courts, as opposed two Zverev who’s had just the two hit outs.
It’s true the German is a superior talent but Thompson’s overall ability shouldn’t be discounted and this price looks big.
