Vinny’s Challenger Glasgow Preview – Henry Searle vs Daniel Cox

Posted on

In an indoor match between two in-form players, these totals look a little low to me. Both the talented Henry Searle and former world #206 Daniel Cox are solely competing indoors so far in 2024, recording some nice results. While Cox is currently sitting on a 10-3 record, Searle is coming off a big win over Jiri Vesely as he also took a set off the ascending Abedallah Shelbayh the week before. Both players build up their game around big serves and powerful groundstrokes which only play up in indoor conditions. In their first head-to-head last month, both the first set and the total games over hit as Cox beat Searle 7-6, 6-4. We could definitely see more of the same in their rematch today and I think the odds should be around 15 (full match) to 20 cents (first set) lower.
