We are in the final year of Danielle Collins being on the WTA tour, and I still think she has a little more to give. She won’t be phased by the power coming from the other end of the court, and she comes into this one off a couple of strong qualifying wins, and a 7-5 6-0 win over Naomi Osaka. She gets Rybakina first up post Australian Open, where she lost to Blinkova in the first week after building a solid base of form, including the title in Brisbane.
I have Rybakina as a favourite here, however I do have Collins a little shorter than the $3.35 that is currently available. I will keep the staking low, however there does look to be a touch of value on the American. She has the mix of power/movement to unsettle her, and as I mentioned above, she won’t be intimidated by the game across the net. That’s part of the battle against Rybakina.
