Complete back-against-the-wall areas for USA’s Christopher Eubanks ahead of the Australian Open.
The 27-year-old hasn’t won a match since October 2 as his rise to world number 34 has been followed by an understandable hangover/form slump.
He’ll have the chance to break his duck against the gritty Taro Daniel who should be a little underdone given a run to the Auckland final this week.
It’s a simple play against the Japanese player’s physical condition and even though Eubanks isn’t playing well, I expect the market to account for the factors above and I wouldn’t be surprised if he started around the $2 mark or shorter.
He’s got the big game to play well on hard courts and should be right up for this one.
