Very short article but hopefully a very sweet outcome.
I’m not confident that Daniel Altmaier – first up on a hard court – can keep pace with a hometown underdog in Li Tu.
The German has a diabolical record on the surface, and while he’s had a relatively tough strength of schedule (due to the rankings points generated on clay courts), I objectively think the Australian would have done better in similar circumstances.
The huge difference in ranking might be a driver behind this price discrepancy, but if we’re grading this contest on all factors available, it’s hard to understand Tu at this quota.
He’s at home, has won many more matches on hard courts in the last 12 months, and has already adapted to the hot conditions in Queensland.
This bet ticks a lot of boxes.
