The first leg of the double is Ofner to defeat Cressy, as the recent level of Cressy has been a little on the concerning side in my opinion. His game isn’t overly suited to the clay, and with Ofner displaying some solid qualifying form, and some strong Challenger form in the lead-up, I’m happy to have him as the first leg.
The second leg is Shevchenko to defeat Otte. Shevchenko’s level in 2023 has gone from strength to strength. He matches up well here on clay against Otte, who has genuinely struggled for the bulk of the season with form and fitness, and lacks the form lines to be able to support here.
