Tommy Paul and Dominik Koepfer will play in the Dallas quarter finals on Saturday morning, and even though the surface is fast and slow-bouncing, I think these two will partake in an up and down contest.
Both men are built fairly low to the ground with short levers and decent defensive abilities.
I don’t expect Paul will struggle to generate break points against the German. Hijikata generated a stack but was luckless on return.
On the flip side, Koepfer’s overall form and feel for these conditions should see him exploit Paul’s serve.
