If you can access the game handicaps here, I do like the minus game handicaps for Siegemund and Begu. They both have significantly better long term form on the surface, in the instance of Andrea Petkovic, I just haven’t seen enough from her in recent times on any surface to be able to strongly entertain her at such handicaps and prices.
There is a little bit of extra value built into the Begu price based on the fact that Kalinskaya won their match in Miami a couple of weeks ago, however with the transition to the clay in Madrid, I am happy to make a play on Begu flipping the script. If she can bring a level close to that of late last year, she should be far too strong for the Russian.
