Laura Siegemund is one of those players that I prefer to oppose over the shorter sample size (aka 1 set) and support over the course of a whole match. In today’s outing, her price looks to be a little short in these conditions against Zarina Diyas.
I don’t think Diyas’ loss to Alexandrova in Abu Dhabi is as bad as the 4-6 4-6 result looked on paper. Both players had even break point opportunties, and in the end it was conversion that got the Russian over the line.
