ATP Roland Garros Qualifying: Daniel vs Bourgue

Daniel vs Bourgue (Approx 06:00pm AEST)

Bourgue’s solid performances last week have opened up a value price on Taro Daniel today, who looks to be incredibly well suited by this match-up.

I really like Daniel on clay against bigger strikers of the ball, and I feel as though he is suited by the conditions with the later showing of the French Open in cooler, heavier conditions. His movement and ball striking has appeared very solid over the last couple of weeks, highlighted by wins over Bagnis and Monteiro.

At the end of the how, just how tough was the schedule for Bourgue to reach the final last week? Outside of a 3 set win over Pablo Andujar, who himself has been quite up and down, I don’t think any of the victories from last week carry a significant amount of weight. Daniel looks to enjoy this match-up as well, with a couple of straight set wins in their history as well.

Not the biggest play in the world, however Daniel at his current head to head price looks to be value, and worth a 1.5 unit selection.

Suggested Bet

1.5 units Daniel to defeat Bourgue at $1.76 at Topsport
