Giron vs Krajinovic (Approx 01:00am AEST)
Following on from the Krajinovic/Ymer selection, I do feel the Serbian is a touch short again today. Instead of playing the large head to head price, I am going to be siding with Giron to cover the game handicap.
What is stopping this from being more than a 1 unit selection? The fact that Marcus Giron is coming off a five set battle with Marc Polmans. There have been a couple of instances where big + handicap players have been right in their matches until late, before a fade-out in the last 20-30 minutes has seen them not only lose, but also fail to cover their handicap.
Ymer was able to find his way into a number of Krajinovic service games, and came within a couple of points of tying things up at one set apiece. Krajinovic did look solid overall, however I am not sure he can justify the -7.5 game handicap he is currently giving up. Like a few other players today, Giron doesn’t match up too badly against players with a decent serve.
Happy to play the +7.5 game handicap for 1 unit.
