WTA Brisbane – Cabrera vs Osuigwe

This isn’t too far from Cabrera’s birthplace (Townsville), and she has always looked at her most comfortable on the hardcourts in Australia. She was unable to take part in the AO Wildcard Playoff at the last minute due to a family emergency (from reports), so there isn’t a particular injury concern leading into this match.
Experience will be telling for Cabrera today, as she is certainly more experienced than the 17 year old Whitney Osuigwe. Conditions are going to be warm and humid for players, so it will be a tough test first up to commence the season. Given the conditions, the form both players finished 2019 in and the home court advantage, I find the price on Cabrera to be quite appealing today for a 2.5 unit selection.
